PACFA Clinical reg no: 27953
MMA Registered Therapist
WorkSafe Registered Provider no: CL171A

I work online and in-person with people of all walks and stages of life to live their most connected, energised, and expansive life.

You might be seeking support, feeling stuck, or simply looking for a way to refuel, recalibrate and reconnect with your passions & life purpose. My approach is compassionate and holistic, using therapies that are gentle, effective, and supportive of your system's innate intelligence. I provide generalist counselling along with specialised somatic (mind-body) therapies and classes. Following our work together, previous clients have reported 'reduced pain & tension', 'greater ease, energy & clarity', 'enhanced connection with self, loved ones, the world around me' , and 'a deeper sense of meaning and purpose'.

Our work together focuses on your resilience, resources, abilities, and strengths as we engage with the challenges & opportunities that are a part of every life. I provide therapeutic talk, touch, and movement, or a tailored combination of all three according to your needs and preferences. We can work together one-on-one or in groups, in person or online.

My professional background spans over two decades of therapeutic roles in public (headspace), community (YSAS, St Laurence), and private mental health & wellbeing organisations.

My philosophy is that the body, mind and soul are one dynamic system. By cultivating awareness and life in the body, we enliven and illuminate the whole.
How we work together is up to you. You can request Talk, Movement, or Touch Therapy, or an evolving combination of all three. All modalities are guided by PACFA ethical standards. Your therapy is unique, tailored to who you are, the challenge you bring to therapy, and your personal preferences.
I provide traditional Talk Therapy, the kind of therapy we're all accustomed to. Mind-body awareness and resources are accessed in this context, supporting you to deepen your relationship with yourself, naturally reconnecting with your own innate intelligence & self-knowing.

Somatic-Movement Therapy can be a natural inclusion, or a stand-alone therapy. This therapy develops new neuromuscular pathways, and new ways of seeing and being in the world. It is effective in reducing pain and tension, cultivating energy, stabilising & regulating mood-states, and developing balance and resilience in the systems of the body.

Finally, Touch Therapy is supported clinically as the most effective method to heal emotional, relational, developmental and episodic challenges that cannot be reached by verbal means alone. Clients have described the work as 'profoundly settling'; 'the deepest rest I've ever had'; and resulting in an 'ease & insight within me that resonates outward'. This work supports development of healthy contact & connection with self, loved ones & the world around us.

Groupwork is an efficient and potent therapy which offers the benefit of being deeply supportive mentally, physically, and socially, whilst being highly cost effective.

QiGong is an ancient Taoist moving meditation, which is accessible to all body types, abilities and fitness levels.
Integrating body, mind and breath in flowing sequences, it cultivates energy, builds strength, balance, and harmony in body & mind.
QiGong is a practice of easeful effortlessness. You can attend, enjoy and gain the full and well-documented health benefits in your first class. With warmth & humour, Kirsty draws on decades of experience as a student & teacher of mindfulness & movement practices. She brings her love of nature and knowledge of the human body to provide a joyful, safe and powerful moving meditation.
Did you know? QiGong is an excellent alternative for those who can't do a seated silent meditation - effectively calming the mind, lifting the spirits & toning the nervous system in a seemingly brief and effortless session.
Come and join our QiGong community!
